Today I’m sharing a very delicious Oreo cake recipe. We’ll make it in just 3 ingredients and bake it in a casserole dish, no oven needed! If you can’t bake a cake and want to surprise someone, this recipe is perfect for you. It’s easy to make at home without baking powder, flour, or cocoa powder. Let’s start!

Ingredients for Oreo Cake:

  1. Oreo Biscuits: 3 half roll packets
  2. Milk: 1 cup
  3. ENO: 1 packet (or 1 tbsp baking powder with a little white vinegar)
  4. Butter (for greasing the pan)
  5. Chocolate or Chocolate Sauce: For covering the cake
  6. Additional chocolate (for garnishing)

Apart biscuit and cream:

First of all you will need oreo Biscuits. You can take 3 half roll packets. Now, carefully separate the biscuit from the cream filling. Keep the biscuits and cream separate.

Graind the biscuit:

When the biscuits and cream are separated, keep the cream aside and break the biscuits into pieces. Now you can grind it by putting it in any grinding machine. You have to grind it well.

And if you don’t have any machine so crush the biscuit simply with the help of a rolling pin. For which you, clean the counter’s top very well, place biscuit on counter and crush it with rolling pin.

Keep in mind: It should be so fine only then the cake will turn out soft & spongy.Otherwise cake will turn out to be like a fudge.

Mix the grind biscuit and milk:

When you grind the biscuits finely, then mix it well with milk and make a batter. For which,

first you will take all biscuit’s powder in a bowl. Now add 1 cup of milk slowly. Mix it well, Mix it until it becomes like chocolate cake batter. You have to mix it well for about a minute so that it mixes well.

Add a rising agent:

Once your milk and biscuit’s batter is ready then you have to add a rising agent which make the cake rise & spongy. So you will add a packet of a ENO. Now add a little bit of water on it to activate. And mix it as quickly as possible. In such a way that it gets mixed well in the entire batter.

Keep in mind: If you don’t want to add ENO so you have one more option, add 1 tbsp of of baking powder. and add a little bit of white vinegar on it.

Bake the cake:

Now that your batter is ready, it’s time to pour it into the baking pan. Make sure to grease and line the pan with butter paper first.

Tricks:

Well if you have noticed, when we bake cake, it happened to have a dome shape and cake does not turns out not plain and smooth so for that we’ll do a trick.

For that put cake batter on the sides, with this your cake will be plain after baking and dome will not make.

Now you can easily bake a cake in a casserole without an oven. For that, preheat a big casserole at low flame for 5 minutes, places a stand in it. Now place the baking pan on stand. Cover and bake the cake at medium flame to low flame for 40-45 minutes.

Check the cake:

After about 45 minutes, check if the cake is done by inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is baked. Let it cool completely before frosting or serving.

Apply cream on the cake:

Once the cake cools slightly, take it out of the pan and carefully cut it into two even layers. Now, beat the reserved cream filling until smooth. Spread this creamy mixture over one layer of cake as frosting.

Keep in mind: Actully cake is so soft so spread carefully. If you’ll apply cream on hot cake so it’ll melt that’s why you have to let it cool down.

Cover the cake with chocolate & garnish:

When you have applied the butter cream well, apply another layer on top of it. Now cover the entire cake with chocolate or chocolate sauce whichever is available to you. And spread it well. When the chocolate covers the cake well, crush chocolate and pour it over the cake. If you want, you can grate any chocolate and put it on it, it will be a good garnishing of the cake.
