Egg Salad Recipe
Today I am sharing with you egg salad recipe. You must have eaten many egg recipes before, but today you are going to eat eggs in a new way, which is egg salad. In this version has beautiful chunky texture. and it has so much flavour from the Dijon mustard, the dices red onion and a good amount of fresh herbs. You can eat egg salad straight up out of the bowl with fork, You can pile it onto some gluten-free bread and make an egg salad sandwich, or you can wrap it up in collar greens and make an egg salad collard wrap. So let start this delicious recipe without any delay.
Boile the egg:
For this recipe, first of all you will have to boil the egg. For this first,
Fill a vessel with water properly and Boil the water in the vessel. Once your water is boiling, reduce the heat to low. So that there’s no large bobbles breaking the surface and gently add the 5 egg with skimmer. Now, turn the heat back up to high and And boil it for 12 minutes.
Cool the boiled eggs
While the eggs are boiling, fill a bowl with ice water and set this to the side. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to the bowl of ice water and let them cool in the ice water bath.Now leave it for a few minutes so that it cools down properly.
Chop the ingrediants:
While your egg is cooling, chop all the ingredients required for it.
The first ingredient is a red onion. You’ll need about a quarter cup of finely diced red onion.
Next, chop up about two tbsp of fresh parsley and 2 tbsp of fresh chives. You could use a varietyof fresh herbs and vegetables in this recipe, and dill, basil and tarragon are all great options as well.
Diced the eggs and keep them ready:
After the eggs have cooled give them a tap on th countert to break their shell and peel them. When it comes to cutting the eggs for this recipe, it is completely up to you how thin you want the eggs to be. Cut them as thin as you want.
Mix it all up:
Once the eggs are diced then add them to a mixing bowl along with the diced red onion, the chopped parsely, chopped chives, 1 tbsp of dijon mustard, 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tbsp of lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Now, stire it all together untill it’s nice and creamy.
After mixing this, your egg salad will be ready, which is very easy to make.
Serve it:
Once it’s ready, you can eat and serve it in different ways. Like you can make an egg salad sandwich, or you can wrap it in collar greens and create an egg salad collardd wrap.You can enjoy it by serving it at lunch time or even in breakfast or dinner. Which is very healthy.
