Leftover Rotis recipe
Today I am going to share a snack with you which can be easily prepared from the homemade roti. This will be a favourite snacks for kids. If you have leftover rotis then this is the perfect dish.You can give this to your children as breakfast or tiffin. They will finish it in no time. So let’s start without any delay.
Prepare the stuffing:
To make this recipe, first of all you will have to prepare its stuffing. For which,
First you will have to take a pan and heat it. Now add 1 tbsp ghee, add 1 tbsp chopped ginger and garlic and mix it well. After 10-20 second add some vegetables chopped 1 small onion, 1/2 cup cabbage, 1/2 cup carrot, 1/3 cup casicum, 1 green chillies. Now saute the vegetables for 2 minutes on high flame. After sauting the vegetables, lower the flame and add 1 tbsp flour, again saute for 2 minute on low flame.
keep in mind: While sauting the flour and vegetables, you must keep stirring it continuously, else it may stick to the bottom.
Add spices and potato:
When your vegetables and flour are ready, then you will add some spices to it. In which add 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp chaat masala, 1/2 tbsp garam masala, 1/2 tbsp salt. Saute the spices for 1 minute on low flame.
After that add 1 large boiled and grated potato. Now mix well on low flame with the help of a spatula. And add a lot of green coriander, add 2 tbsp water to get a sepreadable consistency. Mix well on low flame . Now your stuffing will become soft and spreadable. Turn off the flam and let it cool.
Keep in mind: Since chaat masala also contains salt, you should add salt carefully.
Fill the stuffing in the roti(Bread):
When your stuffing cools down completely, then fill it between two rotis. For which first,
Take a roti on which you will seprade some mayonnaise. Spread it little so that it has a creamy taste. Kids like such things. After spreading the mayonnaise, put the mixture(stuffing) on the roti and spread a thick layer. This will give good flavour.Now take the second roti and place it on top of it and press it gently.With this your roti sandwich will be ready.
Cook the roti sandwich:
When your roti sandwich is ready then you can cook it. For which you take some butter in the same pan. Now put the prepared roti sandwich and keep the flame on medium so that is become crispy. After 2-3 minutes, spread some butter on top and flip it. As soon as you flip it spread on all sides some ketchup. Ketchup gives a sweet and sour flavour.To attract children, spread some cheese over the ketchup. Now add some coriander and cook for 2 minutes .
After 2-3 minutes the cheese will melt and the roti will become crispy.
Serve it:
When the cheese melts well and the roti becomes crispy, then you can cut it and give it in the children’s tiffin box. If you pack vegetables and roti in the tiffin box, Then he will not eat it but this way he will eat it easily and quickly.

Tips:
- Instead of ghee, You can also use butter or oil.
- You can use red and yellow capsicum and also use green as well.
- You can adjust red chilli powder as per your taste.
- If mayonnaise is not availabe, you can skip it.
- Instead of tomato ketchup, You can also spread green chutney.
