Perfectly Crispy and Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies with Brown Butter and Vanilla

Chocolate Chip Cookies: Hello friends, welcome to my new recipe. Today I am going to share with you my favorite chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies are always a treat, but when you make an exceptionally good one, it’s pure magic. The best part? You can easily make these delicious cookies at home using simple ingredients like brown sugar, flour, butter (or fat of your choice), eggs, and lots of chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • Sea salt: For sprinkling on top (optional, but recommended)
  • Butter: 1/2 cup salted butter
  • Vanilla pod: 1/2 pod
  • All-purpose flour: 1 1/4 cups
  • Corn flour: 1 tablespoon
  • Baking soda: 1/2 tablespoon
  • Soft brown sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Caster sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Egg: 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
  • Chocolate chips: 1/2 cup

Cook the butter:

To make delicious chocolate chip cookies, add 1/2 cup salted butter into a pan and turn on the gas. Now cook this butter until it becomes slightly brown in color.

Keep in mind: Keep stirring it so that butter doesn’t burn.

Add vanila pod:

Whe the butter has melted completely then add 1/2 vanila pod to it for extra flavor. Again cook it about 5-6 minutes on midium flame. After that your butter will start to foam and color will also changed brown. After changing the color transfer it into a bowl and let this cool completely.

Combine all-purpose flour:

Now when your brown butter comes to room temperature, mix 1/4 cup all purpose flour, 1 tbsp corn flour and 2 tbsp baking soda in a separate bowl. Now mix it well and keep it aside.

Add brown Sugar:

When the butter cools down completely, then add 1/2 cup soft brown sugar and 1/2 cup of caster sugar to it. Now mix everything until the butter and the sugar are nicely combined.

Add egg:

After combining the everything, add 1 egg+ 1 egg yolk and mix it again along with mixture. Until it turns into a fine batter.

Add dry mixer:

Now add the all-purpose dry mixer to the wet ingredients and mix it with a spatula until the dough comes together.

Add choclate chips:

Once your choclate cookie’s dough is ready, add 1/2 cup chocolate chips to it. And mix it with spatula.

Make balls:

After preparing the cookie dough with chocolate, you can make equal sized balls of the dough and place them on a tray covered with patchment paper. You can make the balls with the help of an ice cream scoop or your hands. And make sure there is enough distance between each ball of cookie dough.

Cook the cookies:

Now bake your cookie balls in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes. After baking, your cookies have nice crispy edges and soft. Take the cookies out on the tray only after they cool down. Otherwise, they will break.

Serve it:

Choclate chip cookies are incomplete without a generous sprinkle of sea salt on top. Now you can serve these cookies to your children and elders. Everyone will praise you as soon as they eat them. Because it is very tasty and soft to eat.

Tips:

  • Cook the butter on medium flame.
  • If you don’t have vanila bean you can add vanila extract or essence directly into dough.
  • Corn flour is optional you can add or skip.
  • You can make the cookies balls with ice-cream scoop or hands.
  • If you want to richer flavour in your cookies then please rest it in fridge about 24 hours. Otherwise yocan cook directly.
  • Before cooking the cookies, make sure there’s enough distance between each ball of cookie dough. Because these are going to spread in the oven.
