Ingredient

  • Basmati Rice – 1 bowl
  • Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee – 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green Cardamoms – 3
  • Black Cardamom – 1
  • Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
  • Cloves – 4-5
  • Black Peppercorns – 4-5
  • Bay Leaves – 2
  • Onion – 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato – 1, thinly sliced
  • Salt – to taste
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Spicy Red Chili Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Coriander Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Curd – 3/4 cup
  • Biryani Masala – 1 teaspoon
  • Potatoes – 2 small, chopped
  • Carrot – 1, chopped
  • French Beans – 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Green Peas – 1/3 cup
  • Fresh Coriander – a large handful, chopped
  • Mint – 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Hot Water

Wash the reice:

To make this spicy veg pulao at your home. Then prepare the rice required for it properly.

To ready the rice firstly, You take one bowl basmati’s rice and wash it with water 2 to 3 times. And wash it until all strach is removed from rice. After washing the rice, Cover it and keep it for 30 mints. So that all the rice swells well.

Apply the Tadka:

While your rice is puffing up, you should prepare a nice tempering. For it

take a wide peony pot and heat it. While heat the pot then add it 1 spoon oil, 2 spoon ghee, when the oil and ghee become hot then add 1/2 teaspoon of cumic seeds, 3 green cardamon, 1 black cardamon, 1 inch cinnemon, 4-5 cloves, 4-5 black peppercorns, and 2 lay leaf. After adding them, fry them for some time.

Add Onion:

After applying the seasoning, add the some onion.

To add the Onion in it, first take 1 big onion and cut into thin slices. Mix well and fry until it becomes light golden brown. When it become light golden brown, then turn slow the gais.

Add tomato:

After the onion is cooked, add ginger, salt and tomatoes to it.

First, add 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste. after that to add tomato, first take 1 tomato and cut into thin slices, and add some salt to help the tomatoes melt quickly. Now mix it very well and cook it until it melts completely.

If you feel the masala is dry then you can add some hot water to it. And then cook it well until it melts completely.

Add seasoning:

After melting the tomatoes, You please add the some spices.

To add the spices, first you should slow the gas flame. Then add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tbsp spicy red chilli, 2 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, and add some hot water to prevent the spices from burning. Now mix it well and cook for 2-3 minuts. Cook the spices till the oil comes out from it. When you see that your spices cooked verl well, then you should slow the gas flame.

Add Curd:

When your spices are cooked Properly then add curd to it. For which,

First of all, take 3/4 cup curd and add 1 spoon of biryani masala to it. Then beat it well.When your curd is beaten properly then add it to the spices.Now mix this curd well with the spices and cook it for at least 2-3 minutes.

Add Some vegitabels:

Now when all your curd and spices are mixed well then you add some vegetables to it. For which

First, add 2 small chopped potatoes and 1 chopped carrot. Then add 1/2 cup chopped French beans, 1/3 cup green peas, a large handful of fresh coriander, and 1 tablespoon of mint. Mix it well and cooked all vegetables til all potatoes are half cooked. Do not cook the vegetables too much, cook them only for 4-5 minutes.

Add sosked rice cooked pulav:

Now When your vegetables are cooked properly, add the soaked rice. For which

First, drain all the water from the rice. And then add twice the amount of water as rice. For which you add at least 4 cups of water.It is very important and mix it well.

Now let the water come to a boil. When the water comes to a good boil, cover it and cook it on medium flame for at least 10 minutes.Don’t disturb it till it cooked.

Now after 10 minutes your pulao is ready. Now turn off the gas and let it rest for at least 10 minutes. Now take it out in a plate and garnish it with onion slices and coriander and serve it. After eating this everyone will become crazy about you. You can also give it in the lunch box of children and adults.   • You can also make the pulao in a cooker.
  • Cook all the spices until they start releasing oil.
  • Cook the vegetables only 60-70%.
