Oreo biscuit cake ingredients
- Oreo Biscuits – 240 grams (two packets of 120 grams each)
- Milk – 1/2 cup (at room temperature)
- Baking Powder – 1 tsp
- Cooking Salt – 1/2 cup (for preheating the wok, reusable)
- Extra Oreo Cookies – 2-3 (optional, for topping)
Preheat wok
To make this recipe, first you have to preheat your wok or cooker. For this, add 1/2 cup of cooking salt in the wok and the salt can be reused many times for baking. Now keep a stand and a plate or you can just keep a stand and cover it and heat it on medium flame for 15 minutes. If you are going to make it on an electric oven then you have to preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Make the Oreo Batter
Now prepare the mixture, for this take two packets of Oreo biscuits of 120 grams each and put them in the grinder jar. Take these biscuits along with the cream, there is no need to remove the cream from the biscuits, then grind it finely. The batter will be quite sweet due to the cream, so you don’t need to add sugar.
Now add 1/2 cup of milk to it, this milk should be at room temperature. A total of 1/2 cup will be required to make a batter. So add milk and mix everything well. So that there are no lumps in the batter.
Prepare Tin
Now, take a cake tin and line it with butter paper. And finally add 1 tsp of baking powder to the batter, mix it well and pour it immediately into the mould. For an extra touch, break 2-3 more Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top of the cake. This part is optional but adds a nice texture. Don’t worry, we still stuck to just three ingredients: Oreo cookies, baking powder and milk!
Bake Cake
Now place it in a preheated pan and bake on medium flame for first 10 minutes and then on low flame for 10-15 minutes. For electric oven, preheat it to 180°C and bake the cake for 20-25 minutes.
When the baking time is over, check if the cake is cooked by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready. Take it out of the oven, cover with a cloth and let it cool. Now your cake is ready to eat.
This cake will be nice, soft and moist. This is a very easy recipe, only three ingredients are used, follow this recipe well and add baking powder at the end and make sure it is not over cooked. If you over cook the cake it becomes hard. So try this recipe and enjoy it.
